The Futures conference is a three-day event, attracting over 375 delegates from 100 youth employment counseling centres, colleges, the private and public sectors, as well as other community-based organizations. Through facilitated networking sessions, fun social events, and a schedule that allows teams to spend time together, you and your staff will leave the conference a stronger, more knowledgeable and connected team.
Last year, the majority of participating organizations sent 3 or more staff to the conference. They returned to their communities rededicated to their common cause.
At the 2016 Futures Conference, you and your staff will experience:
- Engaging team-building activities, fun social events, and 40 workshops including participatory learning and panel discussions that will leave you ready to keep creating positive change in your community;
- Inspiring and educational keynote speakers who are sure to leave you laughing and learning;
- The sixth annual National Innovation Awards, showcasing youth employment practices nationwide;
- Network with youth-serving agencies from across the province, including many government ministries and departments;
- A special theme night featuring a cocktail reception, dinner, and contests. Dressing up in costume is strongly encouraged!
