On October 6, 2015 First Work held its Annual General Meeting at Blue Mountain Resort, Collingwood, ON. During the meeting, board members discussed a variety of accomplishments and challenges from the past year, delivered a presentation of the financial picture for past, present and future endeavors, and presented the new strategic plan  for 2015-2018.
 
Our new mission:
“Full Employment for Youth”
 
The discussion of the new strategic plan, led by organizational collaboration consultant Heather Graham, outlined the network’s new mission statement and emphasized the importance of building stronger relationships with member organizations and regional networks. The discussion provided opportunities for the audience to comment and share their questions.
 
The 2014/2015 Annual Report is now available on the First Work website. We encourage you to review the successes of 2014-2015 and provide any feedback you may have. Additionally, the new Benefits of Membership brochure is available here for review.

A mailing is going out to all members who were unable to attend in person. This will ensure all members have the copies of these important documents.



First Work continues to demonstrate our network's knowledge and passion for youth employment excellence. Thank you for your support and we look forward to continuing to serve your interests to build a solid future for youth together.
